The Management Board of mBank S.A. (The Bank), in reference to the report 84/2008 of 12 June 2008, informs that on 24 June 2015 the Bank repaid early the subordinated loan in the amount of CHF 90 million (359,019,000 zł at the average exchange rate of the National Bank of Poland as at 24 June 2015).

The Bank made repayment because the aforementioned loan was not fully included in the Tier II capital calculation in accordance with Article 64 of the Regulation of No 575/2013 of European Parliament and the Council of 26 June 2013 on prudential requirements for credit institutions and investment firms and amending (EU) Regulation No 648/2012 and Article 127.3 point 2.b of the Banking Law. The Bank obtained the decision of Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) of 8 January 2015, under which the Authority approved the aforementioned early repayment.

Simultaneously, in connection to the reports of 117/2014 of 17 December 2014 and 1/2015 of 15 January 2015, the Bank would like to remind that it issued subordinated bonds with the nominal value of PLN 750 million (in words: seven hundred and fifty million) on 17 December 2014. The proceeds from issue were fully included in the Tier II capital calculation.
