The Management Board of mBank S.A. (“Bank”) – with reference to current report no. 60/2016 dated 17 August 2016 - announces that on 18 August 2016 the Bank received a decision of the Financial Stability Committee (“KSF”) dated 10 August 2016 issued at the request of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (“KNF”) pursuant to Article 39 (1) and (3) in connection with Article 5 of the Act of 5 August 2015 on Macroprudential Supervision of the Financial System and Crisis Management.
In accordance with the decision in question, the Financial Stability Committee  issued a positive opinion on the identification of the Bank by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority  as other systemically important institution and on imposing - on an individual and consolidated basis - the other systemically important institution buffer on the Bank equivalent to 0.50% of the total risk exposure calculated in accordance with Article 92 (3) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
