We will play with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity for the sixth time. What is more, based on an agreement signed recently, our cooperation will continue in the coming years. We will organise the transport and counting of the collected funds, provide payment terminals and set up collection centres in Łódź and Warsaw. As in the previous years we encourage you to generously support WOŚP and also plan to make our own contribution to add to your donations. This way over the last five years we donated nearly PLN 17 million to WOŚP, which together with your payments totalled PLN 90 million!

The upcoming 31st Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will take place on 29 January 2023. This year, with the support from 120,000 volunteers, the Foundation will raise funds for the fight against sepsis. Traditionally, the fundraising at mBank will start earlier.

One client can click the WOŚP heart only once, but together we can raise millions! mBank pays PLN 1 for every click

Starting from today until the 31st Grand Finale every client who activates mBank app for the first time or upgrades their mBank app to the latest version (3.59) can click the animated WOŚP heart. For every click we will donate PLN 1 towards this year’s fundraising goal. This is a new addition to our app.
The older app versions and online banking will feature the standard WOŚP heart facilitating donations from clients. Once a client clicks the animated heart, and this way donates “their” PLN 1 to WOŚP, the animated heart will be replaced with the standard heart.
This year also the companies using corporate and investment banking services of mBank can make their contribution towards the fundraiser as we pledged to donate the equivalent of six months’ account fees to WOŚP for every company account opened from January to the end of February 2023.  

Together we raised PLN 90 million over five years

Over the last five years we donated more than PLN 16.7 million to WOŚP. At the same time, your donations amounted to nearly PLN 76 million. This adds up to PLN 90 million!
We are committed to improving this result. Recently we have agreed with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity to continue our cooperation in the coming years. This makes me proud as the fundraiser not only helps us embrace the ESG agenda embedded in our strategy but also shows that mBank is a socially responsible organisation, says Cezary Stypułkowski, mBank’s CEO.
