Amendments to the Regulations on Opening, Holding and Closing an Integrated Bank Account at mBank S.A. and the Regulations on Opening, Holding and Closing Bank Accounts at mBank S.A.

On 22 July 2024, the amended Regulations on Opening, Holding and Closing an Integrated Bank Account at mBank S.A. (“IBAA Regulations”) and the Regulations on Opening, Holding and Closing Bank Accounts at mBank S.A. (“Regulations on Bank Accounts”) will come into force.

Part I of the IBAA Regulations and of the Regulations on Bank Accounts will be amended as follows:

  • we have updated the rules for the conversion of payment instruction amounts;
  • we have added a provision stating that we will not execute a customer's instruction if there are circumstances justifying suspension of the execution of the instruction or refusal to execute the instruction;
  • we inform customers that amounts due on account of an unauthorised debit balance become payable as soon as they arise;
  • we impose an obligation on customers to submit a statement to the Bank on the number of employees in a given customer’s company as at the end of the last ended financial year within two months following the end of that financial year. The Bank will have the right to refuse to conclude term deposit transactions with a customer that fails to submit the said statement.

The uniform texts of the documents are available in the Forms and Regulations section.
