Announcement about foreign payments made to beneficiaries holding bank accounts with Versobank AS in Estonia
Dear Sir/Madam
Pursuant to the decision of the European Central Bank, the Estonian bank Versobank AS (SWIFT CODE: SBMBEE22) lost its licence to operate as a credit institution. Therefore, please pay particular attention when making foreign payments to beneficiaries holding accounts with that bank.
Under the current circumstances, such foreign payments may:
be delayed by both intermediary banks and a beneficiary’s bank,
be returned by intermediary banks or a beneficiary’s bank,
even result in loss of transferred funds.
Please remain cautious about making payments to beneficiaries holding accounts with that bank.
